Thanks so much for your replies. I really appreciate it. This is the bit I am having trouble with. The files seem to parse OK, and the name of the show is identified - it groups them correctly according to the series name. However, it seems to require me to manyally match them to an episode. I can't find any configuration that lets me just import them as-is. I would be perfectly happy to have them imported as-is. File names look something like this: 06/01/2012 09:45 p.m. 6,427,059,932 The Graham Norton Show - 2012-01-06.ts 06/01/2012 08:27 p.m. 1,193 The Graham Norton Show - 2012-01-06.xml 13/01/2012 09:50 p.m. 6,114,004,776 The Graham Norton Show - 2012-01-13.ts 13/01/2012 08:32 p.m. 1,237 The Graham Norton Show - 2012-01-13.xml 27/01/2012 10:20 p.m. 6,353,667,928 The Graham Norton Show - 2012-01-27.ts 27/01/2012 09:02 p.m. 1,232 The Graham Norton Show - 2012-01-27.xml I am using XMLTV to import data collected by EPG Collector (geekzone.co.nz). I think the actual data comes from the NZ freeview provider. It took a while to set up, but EPG works fine for me. It contains all the data I need for general viewing. But I don't think it has episode number in the feed. I'm not planning to tamper with my EPG unless it is absolutely necessary.
