How to autohide mouse pointer (1 Viewer)

I´m one of those MP users whose mouse pointer stays visible in the middle of the picture...
Have searched the forum for ways to solve the problem but no luck.

This is what I have read / tried:
- Manually set "autohide mouse" to yes in mediaportal.xml. This hides the mouse, and works well, but it causes the mouse to disappear completely in MP after switching back and forth from window mode. Known bug?
- bzhider - doesn't work in Vista 64 (although I have not tested it)
- Mousehider plugin - haven´t tested. Since I use the mouse frequently, I want it to self appear when I move the mouse.
- Killmouse (by scythe000) has good functionality. Problem is that it moves the cursor to the low right corner, which causes an info screen to pop up in MP.
- Searched internet for freeware mouse hider application. Found two that I tested, but did not work.

Anyone has a working solution?

SAF also has an option to move mouse to corner (0,0) on playing video.
however it doesn't actually do anything on my pc

try a different mouse? (ps2-> usb / usb -> ps2)

Make 1*1 pixel mouse pointer (by some free cursor editor) and replace system default with it - this leave 1*1 pointer in centre of screen (very hard to see)
If you want to hide it completly, set cursor color to transparent (be aware, that you didnt see your cursor at all after that!)

As I wrote in first post, editing mediaportal.xml as BuUrMaN suggests does make my mouspointer autohide, but is also causes it to disappear completely sometimes. Known bug?
