How to buffer the tv? (3 Viewers)

Hi...

I have mediaportal TV server installed on one computer and then client on a different computer.
The network is wireless and somewhat slow which causes the TV to really stutter.
Is there a way to buffer the TV on the client? I don't mind the delay, I just don't want the stuttering.

Any solutions?

If the network is too slow the stutter will catch up with the stream eventually.

I'm not sure that's true, it's not slow, it's just not stable. Sometimes very fast, sometimes slower. If I had a one minute buffer on the client it would have been fine...

But you will have to wait a minute to watch live tv... I don't think this is acceptable...

TVE3 uses UDP so, if some packets are dropped they aren't going to be resent again. In that sence buffering doesn't solve bad connection issues.
