I have some tv recordings wich I want to burn to a DVD. The DVD should be playable in any DVD-player. How can I achieve this in a simple way? Is it possible to do from within mediaportal or how can I do this?

You can use DVDFlick -> Link!

VideoRedo works fine too, but it doesn't support multiple audio streams and it is not for free!

Is there any solution that would work inside MP or have its own 10-foot interface to use with remote?

I'm looking for a solution for at least one of these two features
    - Convert recording to XVID AVI (SD recordings) or MKV H264 (HD recordings) and burn them to CD/DVD
    - Convert recording to DVD format and burn them to DVD

First solution is prefered, but second would be OK too.

    Any ideas?

I too am looking for a solution integrated into MP. Has any new support for this kind of function been added to MP in the last 3 years?
If not, can anyone recommend a 3d party tool (beyond DVDflick) and a good way to integrate it into the MP GUI?

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

I was just tinkering with a few settings in the MediaPortal configuration and am happy to have found the cause of the problem. Disabling the option "Single seat setup: force RTSP usage" under "TV/Radio", "Advanced Options" resolved the issue. After I disabled this option, I was able to delete the recordings the first time...
