how to disable 'PC' button on MCE remote? (1 Viewer)

When I use the PC button on the MCE remote in MP, my pc dives into an unrecoverable state (well, I don't know what to do other than removing the battery from the motherboard).
How do I disable the PC button on the MCE remote in the MP configuration? There is an option for the TV button but there doesn't seem to be an input in the MP config for the PC button...

I'm using LM Remote to manage the remote for MP. A free version can be found on their website.

This little piece of software allows you to reprogram any key. I use it reprogram the volume keys to blast my amplifier f.i. It also solves all conflicts with the eHome drivers and the related green button problems. You could just give the key another function.

I might be wrong but I have a feeling the pc-button takes same Windows function as the case power-button.
If so, change behavior by going to Controlpanel, System security, Power options, Change plan settings, Change advanced, power buttens and lid, Power button action.

you are right.
sleep mode doesnt seem to work on his pc. could be driver or bios-settings. try put it on s1 instead of s3 in bios and see if it works then. at least u can turn on/off ur pc with it. changing the powerbutton action to sleep as stated in above howto by rekenaar.

edit: to turn it off set powerbutton action to do nothing.
