I have MCE remote control (MCERC-200) and it works with onboard irda in acer notebooks with Media Center on XP and Vista. I have Acer Travel Mate 6592G with XP Pro operating system so I want to use Media Portal as a substitute of MC but after instalation and changing some settings MP still cant see my remote. Can somebody tell me how to make my remote compatible with MP on my system?
