How to Ensure MP will Record Something? MP1.4 (1 Viewer)

MP 1.4 here. Loving Media Portal so far. There is a bit of a learning curve, but I love how everything ties together.

Quick question: Every week or so, I need to ensure that a single recording takes place that isn't part of my normal schedule. I can add these in manually, but if they don't record I'll be in trouble. I have a single Colossus card connected to a cable box.

It appears that looking at the schedule multiple shows attempt to record. For instance it shows Real Time and Rachel Maddow both recording at 9pm. In any case these single shows need to take precedence. How can I make sure they get recorded?

Ok so in case someone else stumbles across this, I used ArgusTV as a recording backend. Has more features like priorities conflict resolution, etc. I'm pretty happy with it, although it was a bit tedious to setup. Seems to integrate very well with MP.
