How to extend a recording timer once recording has started? (1 Viewer)

I'm recording a World Cup football match. I scheduled a timer using the EPG and it appears and is handled by Power Scheduler.

Once the timer has kicked in and is recording, how do I extend the recording time? (The EPG entry for the programme is of normal length, but can over run due to extra time and the penalty shoot out.)

Is this possible at all?

If you use For The Record you can simply add more post-recording time and the recording will go on longer.

I think also a timerupdate should be possible. The bad thing is, you can change the post recording time in timer section and it looks like the time have increased, but the timer stops at the previous defined post recording time. Is this behaviour still in RC5?

Probably, but perhaps someone can confirm this for sure.

For The Record does update the actual recording, so it will keep going until the new stop-time just like you would expect (and this works both with its own Argus recording engine as with TV server as recording engine).
