How to get Webstreams working (for example Sky.fm) (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

how do i get webstreams like sky.fm (url like http://www.sky.fm/mp3/tophits.pls) to work with TVServer?
I've added the channel in the radio section and entered the url above in the webstream register. The station appears in the radio list, but after klicking on it nothing happens. In Winamp the same stream works. I also worked before with my MP Installation (without tv server) before...

Im still searching a solution for this problem. Could anyone try the above link and tell me if it works?
I've also searched the wiki, but the webstream radio config is not described in the tv server manual.

Again: It worked perfect with my previous (RC04) Standalone installation of Mediaportal and it also works with winamp.

Hi. I am having a similar (if not the same) problem. I tried your sky.fm link and couldn't get it to work on my server/client but it does work on my laptop which is just a client. This is the same as a lot of other New Zealand stations I have tried. Here's a log showing one m3u success and one m3u fail:

I can't work this out because it will play one .m3u link but not the other. Do you think it could be a codec issue? Apparently bass_error_fileform means bass didn't recognise the file format.

Would be keen to hear if you have since solved this. Cheers.
