Hi everybody!
At the moment I'm still using WMC+MediaBrowser but I'm trying to move to MP replicating the running configuration.

One of the last things I need to sort out is how to handle those TV Series that ends with one or more movies.
i.e. :

Dead like me : 2 seasons and one movie
..\Dead Like Me\Season 1\ (one file per ep )
..\Dead Like Me\Season 2\ (one file per ep )
..\Dead Like Me\Dead Like Me Life After Death\ <one file, the movie>

Sex & The City : 6 sesasons and two movies
.. same folder structure as above

Currently My TVSeries simply ignores the movies.
Of course I can't tweak thetvdb.com to insert them even if those movies are the natural ending of the series.

The only things I came out is to manually modify the db to insert a fake season with fake episodes linked to the movies but I wonder if there is a simplier and more elegant solution.

Thanks in advance,
Luca.

Hi lleone,

Mp TV Series has a nice system for these movies.
for example: both Sex and the city movies are listed on thtvdb.com in the "specials" section (season 0 if you will) as episode 0x18 and 0x19.
If you rename the movies accordingly as "Sex and the city 00x18 the movie" MP TVSeries will pick them up and put them in the specials season.
In the config of MP TVSeries on the General tab, make sure you check the option "Sort Specials in Episode List".
MP TVSeries will put them on the end of season 6 in the list (by air date)

Hi Nad, thanks for your reply!

I tried what you advice but I'm unable to get a correct sort order.
Dead Like Me: every episode has the correct thetvdb aired date, the movie (special 0x01) too.
Sorting is done by aired date and "Sort Specials in Episode list (Aired Order Only)" is flagged.

Nevertheless all the above, the movie is displayed before the two seasons not after.

What am I doing wrong?!

Ok, found!
Specials are now showed both in their "special" view and in "season xx" view.
Don't like this double display of the same thing but I think I have to live with it.

Thanks again,
Luca.
