How to install / setup TV? It is missing... (1 Viewer)

Hi. I have tried this on 2 different PCs now. The deploy tool doesn't run if that is supposed to.

I install MP2 (server and client) and there is no sign of TV anywhere. How can this install with a big chunk missing?
I am presuming that there isnt a seperate "TV Server" file I am supposed to download and install?

Is setup supposed to detect the TV cards and install the TV component if it finds any? Perhaps it isnt detecting my TV cards?

There is only shortcuts for the client and one for the server monitor on my start menu. Nothing else.

Please help as I am trying to get away from MCE and MP sounds good but, so far just headache

There are 2 versions of MP2
Native - Built in TV software
SlimTV - actually uses the TV side from MP1

Here is a link to the latest test version and below it is the code (need to download) and instructions on how to make it a Native version

Once that is installed, you need to go into the MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service and launch the SetupTV application.
Within there you can setup and scan for channels.
After that is completed, you can close it and bring up MP2 and click on TV

OK thanks for the reply. I feel I should point out that I read all the documentation on the site (install tutorials) etc and this wasnt mentioned anywhere (well, not on the many pages I read) so I know Im not the only person who will have this problem. Perhaps the documentation could be updated as I was going around in circles and getting nowhere.

After trying to install slim TV I get this on running the setupTV.exe -
Type valid hostname for tv server (or exit application)

I was running the 10th Anniversary Edition, I will try 1.8.0

Post your Client and Server logs and lets see what is happening.
