how to make "my programs" execute, but *not* stop media playback? (1 Viewer)

I Use "my programs" (renamed to "home control") to send commands to Girder, for controlling projector, lights, audio-profiles and such.

each time "my programs" executes a command, any backgrouc music/movie/stream stops.

how can I make "my program" execute this small command line program, (that does not need audio/display , without stopping ongoing playback of media ?)

I've noticed this behaviour as well and have posted in the feature request forum. I'm going to take a look at the code and see if there is a simple obvious fix.
