How To Modify Menus (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone

Don't know if it is possible to do this, I sure hope so.

Regarding the main menu of mediaportal.

I would like to change the menu options to say something different, for example:-

My TV would become Live TV
My Videos would become Video Media
My Music would become Music Media

and so on and so forth!

Is it possible for me to do this by editing a particular XML file or is this coded in such a way that it is not currently possible?

Any help from the experts (thats anyone who knows more than me; which I guess is just about everyone) would be really appreciated.

There is an option in the MP setup application. Go to General/Skins and the option to remove the "My" prefix is there.

If you edit the file strings_en.xml in the \MediaPortal\Language, you cna change the text that appears on any of the buttons.

Make sure you take a copy of the file as it may get overwritten when you apply an SVN.
