Hi,

I downloaded MP to replace PowerCinema and have the same issue I had before:

How can I mute MP (for instance while it is recording) and watch a DivX at the same time (with sound of course)? There are some programs I don't really watch and just record and at the same time I would like to watch other stuff or listen to music. In PowerCinema the program always muted the whole system and not only the application... Now I see MP appearently does the same :(
Are there really only the options to mute the master and wave-volume? Or is there a way around?
Thanks for any help, the program rocks anyway ;)

I don't really understand the issue. If you are recording something and not watching it, you can just play music and movies in MediaPortal and it will record in the background. Perhaps I don't understand your issue.

Make it three people not understanding your post (me, not even mPod's reply :D )...

You can record, but have TV "off" and watch whatever video you want (with audio) while it records.

Mpods post is aiming to the fact that it's not possible yet to only mute MP rather than muting the whole systems audio output respectivly the wave output

Wait til Vista comes along....you can do application level volume control, i.e. set volume levels for each individual application.

By then the MP team should've worked out how to interface with that ;)
