I resolved this by finding out what key sequence to use on my MCE Remote EU.

It turned out to be: press PLAY, Green-Start in sequence.

This worked fine for months untill recently. Don't know why.

Resolved it again by using a nice proggy found on MP download site: MPTray

Press Green-Start to start MP and PLAY, Green-Start to re-focus on MP.
