Hello
I have got a fully working MP 1.2.2 installed and it is working a treat.
However I have ordered my DVB-S2 card and would like to use the TV aspect of MP.
Prior to this I did use DVB Viewer for my older DVB-S card.
When my card arrives I would like to know if it is possible to add the TV server aspect of the MP installation rather than have to remove it and then reinstall it again..?
When I have tried to run the installation with MP 1.2.2 already installed it warns me that it can't continue and thus aborts the process due to the same version already installed.
So is there a working method to just add the TV functionality to the MP installation without having to remove it first, or is that something I'm going to have to do if I wish to use MP to watch TV through my new card..?
I suppose I could do a std removal, which leaves the user files etc still there, and then install again if that is the only way. If tha tis so I hope all the user settings applied would be picked up..?
I do hope that the TV functionality, and my ability to get it working with a fully populated EPG has improved since I last used it, as that was why I ended up buying the DVB viewer. But I would like to try that out.
Thanks for any advice.
