How to run mediaportal 2 tvserver in kodi? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Dont know if its just me or if im doing something wrong. Have been running MP1 tv server earlier and used Kodi to watch tv , now updated my system with MP2. Earlier i have been using TVserverXMBC Plugin but now i cant understand if it will work in MP2 or even where to place the file, have tried putting it in different plugin folders but it doesnt show up in the tv server configuration software, please help me before im going fully retarded here

If you used the TV-server with Kodi and not with MediaPortal then there is no need to upgrade to MP2. The default MP2 TV Server is TVE3, which is the same as in MP1. So, if you need the TV-Server just to be able watch TV in Kodi, simply stick with the TV-Server from MP1.

Kodi needs a plugin to communicate with tvserver.
Since something has changed with the plugin structure in TVServer 3.5, we have to wait.
I was waiting for that, cause Tv interface in MP2 is still rough and nearly unuseable (IMHO), and TvServer 3.5 has very good new features.
