How to save settings for fresh install? (1 Viewer)

I spent weeks and weeks first setting up my HTPC and MP last year but I'm going to upgrade to a new pc. Is there anyway I can save these settings and retreive them for when I do a fresh install of MP on another PC?

MP is superb and I've got it working just how I want, but I'm worried that installing on a new pc and tring to set it up again is going to be a nightmare!!

i think this should work...

copy \appdata\team mediaportal\... and \program files\team mediaportal\...
then install mediaportal on new computer
then overwrite with backed up files

you may need to rescan/remap tvserver channels

That is the closest you will get.

If it was me i would do the above, except not for tvserver and reconfigure tvserver on new computer
