How to scan or manually add QAM channels (1 Viewer)

Just picked up the Hauppauge HVR 1600. Scanning analog works. Scanning QAM doesn't. Get no channels found. Tried all the QAM tuning frequencies (hrc+3, hrc, irc, std, and std alt). None picked up any channels. In the attached screen shot it shows "physical channels" and "frequency". The frequency numbers I don't really understand. All I know is to get these channels on my TV it's easy. I simply have to tune to the right channel. For example, I tune my TV to channel 109-2 and I get CBS. Here is a link to my cable provider's line-up page. I'd really like to be able to start recording digital instead of analog. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a way to manually enter the channels? I tried using the "Add" button on the Channel tab which let's me do it but then on the Mappings tab the new channel doesn't appear in the list of available channels to map to my card.

I have the exact card (Hauppauge HVR 1600) and same situation.

Analog scanned fine but no HD, I'm on Insight cable...

I came from using MythTv and I've got to say that the look and feel of MediaPortal is everything as nice as Myth and setup was a breeze but MythTv also had scanning problems when it came to HD.

Hopefully someone can help us with this issue..
