I just came across WiFi Remote in a roundabout way. I am looking for a way to remotely control my HTPC, which is located in my home theatre room with a beamer and has Media Portal installed, from the living room, where there is a TV that is connected to the HTPC.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this remote control once the plug-in has been installed in Media Portal.
I have read a short manual for MP2 here in the forum, but I don't know if it is transferable to MP1.
There also seemed to have been problems at one time.
Since I'm really not familiar with the subject, I don't know what to do with clients, users and passwords and where to enter them.
And finally which app I could use on my smartphone to control the HTPC.
Can anyone give me some ideas or insallin instructions here?
