how to stop a tv recording? (1 Viewer)

i dont seem to be able to stop the tv recording after its started. i can start recording by just pressing the record button on the remote or r. but pressing stop, stop record or b on keyboard does nothing.

the stop is given action 13 and does make a noise when i press it.

the only way to stop the record is toi go to the tv home and press stop record there. pressing the stop button while in the tv home turns the tv output off instead!!

why is?

yeah, I've always found it hard to stop a recording too.
I figured this was intentional though.

if you press the record button again- it will ask you if you want to stop the current recording.

No idea why that is though

ok ill try that when i get home - lol cant believe i didnt try that

I normaly do in tv-section: timer, then delete

so I do not have to change to the channel where the recording is taking place
