Message: <blockquote data-quote="tom101" data-source="post: 482956" data-attributes="member: 95913">Hi,Is there a way to get a correct aspect ratio when viewing films in a 2:35-1 aspect ratio on a 16:9 screen?  All the available aspect ratios in MP leave the image stretched one way or another.  I am using ffdshow with the MP internal video player.  My TV is a panasonic plasma with a native resolution of 1024x768 connected via VGA.  In other players, for example Zoomplayer I can just select anamorphic and I get the correct aspect ratio with black bars top and bottom of the screen.  I suppose what I need is a way to expand the image to the vertical limits of the screen but keep the aspect ratio intact.  I am using MP version 1.0.0.0.Many thanks.Tom</blockquote>
