Howto connect a mysql database on webhotel (1 Viewer)

Hi

I Got a Webhotel, where there is a Mysql database. I can get access to they database from MYSQL Client. But when I try from the TV-Server, It say can´t get access to <username>@mysql. My name of the database is not mysql.
My connectstring in gentle.config is point to my remote database, with the rigth name.

Can someone tell my what to do

    Could be some restriction how Tv engine handles IP / network addressing. In any case I wouldn't even dream about using a remote DB over a slow network connection. There are lot of data that tv engine needs to transfer between it and database and you will most likely get only horrible performance out of such setup.
