HP Expresscard TV Tuner (2 Viewers)

Hey all,

Windows Version: XP Pro SP2
CPU Type: Intel Centrino Duo 1.83Ghz
HDD: 120GB
Memory: 1GB
Video Card: NVidia GeForce Go 7400
TV Card: HP Expresscard TV Tuner

I was wondering if the HP Expresscard TV Tuner

(http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/s...roduct_code=EP323AA#ABA&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN)

is compatible with Media Portal. I've looked around for the actual card name/specs (chipset, manufactuer names), but so far my search has come up with nothing.

The HP site says that the card is ONLY compatible with MCE2005. Perhaps Media Portal is awesome enough to defeat that statement?

We can make it work but you may want to see if it's a hardware encoding device as the Laptops CPU will get hammered otherwise encoding the content.
