For future reference, there was a bug in the MCE Transceiver plugin that gave the above symptoms. This bug was fixed for Vista/Win7. It would appear a similar fix is needed for XP. Log files would be needed to investigate this further.

Hi Clinton,

I removed the IRSS Server Suite and went with the alternative suggested, however I have a test PC with MP installed on therefore I will over the Xmas holidays borrow one of the three blasters I have connect it up in the same way as my TV Server and get the logs off for you, if you want?

I would be happy to look at the logs, and maybe hazard a guess at a solution. However, I don't have an XP setup, so the logistics of testing would be a bit tricky. Since you are happy with your alternative (and the plugin works fine, for me at least, on Vista/Win7), maybe we should just note this as a known bug for now.
