Hi there,

very nice setup imho. I have one question concerning the Antec Fusion case. Do you know if it's possible to use MCE Remote to start/shutdown the system through the remote controler? Does the IR sensor/reciever in the case respond to any remote devices?

Yes it should respond to MCE remotes only (or in my case a Logitech 525 acting as a MCE). Starting by remote is also possible depending on how you hooked up the IR device in the case. Shutdown will always work.

Should it be possible to start the PC up from Shutdown/Hibernation mode with the remote, or just the Standby mode?
I can start up from Standby mode with my remote, but not from Hibernation/shutdown.

Hi guys,I´m new with MP and I have similar configuration of HTPC, antec fusion black,phenom 8650 but asus M3N78-EMH HDMI and multichannel LPCM (8 channels) Its possible.
The question its the controller I´m using harmony 555 and some functions doesn´t work(play,back,FF,RW,etc) and I can´t open the link you put in the first post,can someone give another link or send my a PM or email??
What I have to use/install or configuro to meke this controller works with MP???

@justernini: you are very interesting. With audio through HDMI can you do HD lossless audio formats ?
Another question is do you know the difference between the 8200 and the 3200 (for movie rendering not games) ?

with HDMI it's possible to use lossless audio formats... but DTS-HD isn't supported yet.

difference between 8200/3200... just your own oppinion... the 3200 has (had) some driver problems in combination with MediaPortal GUI... but playback of HD-contents is nearly the same...
