I am an enthusiastic Mediaportal user, for about a month now. With help of this forum and the documentation on the WIKI i have mediaportal running according to my wishes. But there is one problem that remains, and that is that my HTPC doesn't go to hibernate after a recording has finished.
First of all, let me state this: When i am finished using mediaportal normally (e.g. watching TV/recordings/DVD/music etc.) i go into the home screen. Then after 3 minutes (which i have set in Power Scheduler) it goes in to hibernate perfectly.
When i start a recording manually and go back to the home screen, again when the recording has finished, 3 minutes later it goes into hibernate perfectly.
When i schedule a recording with the EPG, it goes into hibernate and it starts up at the correct time. Only to never go in hibernate again, and that aint good, off course.
When i look in the log (i have attached a recent one) i get the impression that power scheduler every time it wants to go to hibernate sees a new recording being planned. But that's not the case, off course. When i try it without new recordings being planned it does go into hibernate.
I have already done a fresh install of everything, and i have looked in the forums and documentation, but i can't find a solution.
I also want to give you my settings in Power Scheduler:
Time before recording starts: 1 minute (recommended)
Time after system going idle: 3 minutes (minimal recommended)
Shutdown mode : Hibernate (i've also tried none, and let Windows do the talking, no difference)
Forced Shutdown and extensive logging are activated.
I've tried different settings, so i tested with other timings (2/4, 2/5, 3/5) and with forced shutdown on and off. It doesn't make a difference.
In Control Panel of Windows i've activated hibernate, with a timing off never. I've tried with hibernate off in control panel, but als no difference.
I hope you guys don't recommend going to a SVN, because i am worried that then i may get other problems.
I hope someone can help me!!!
