great plugin and cheers for the streamedmp skin also

only problem i got is that i have a 2nd hard drive that its not detected along with sensors that are not show

attaching screenies below

again thx for a wonderful plugin mate

Hi papas,
at the moment, only hard drives with letter C: and D: are supported. To resolve the problem with your configuration, please post here, which drive letter has your 2nd hard drive. I'll check this tomorrow. Concluding I hope, your sensor informations are displayed now correctly (thx to joz for explanation).

Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

Annotation: I think it's a good idea for an upcoming major release to extend the configuration dialog with a selectbox, where you can select the drive letters.

sure, but you need to edit the skin file. Test it out and change what needs to be changed (maybe then upload it here ;)).
Things I can think of now;
- All fonts are mediastream once, replace them by monochrome once (mediastream16c to font16 for example)
- Dunno how the sliding menu is gonna holdout in monochrome, look at monochrome menus in other xmls if the once I have sitting there now won't work

ok i'm messing around with the skin for monochrome, i know nothing about xml files so i am doing my best.

there is one thing that i can not get done.
in the top right is the text #HEADER.LABEL how can i get rid of it ?

Can someone give me a hint ?....:D

Another thing.
How do i get the network send and received going ?.

Hi papas again,
today I had uploaded a new version of this plugin, where you can select explicitely, which hard disks will be monitored. To configure your HTPC, please follow these steps:
  • download and install the new version
  • start the Mediaportal configuration tool, click the plugin and press the button "Config"
  • open the tab "Monitoring" and select the hard disks
  • save the configuration and start MediaPortal

A feedback was very useful.

Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

    Hello Micropolis

first i have to thank for this great plugin, for me its the perfect running mix from sysinfo and fanatic monitor that both dont seem to be still supported.

@the moment i customize htpc.xml for Bleazle-Skin. There will be no problem, when i finished i will post customized xml in Bleazle-Thread (section hot skins in forum).

I only have one question: In bleazle skin it is neccesary to create a file named button_xyz (xyz is a placeholder for real name of plugin) to get the green bar that is highlighting items in MediaPortal (just for plugins that are not natively supported by Bleazle). My question is how does call MediaPortal your plugin intern? I tried button_htpcinfo.xml and button_HTPCInfo.xml and some other variations.

Can you tell me whats the correct name cause button_xyz.xml must correctly match the pluginname how its called in MP. I hop you understand my question, cause my english is bad, perhaps i can write you a PM in German????

Thanks again for the fantastic plugin, i love it

    Cress

    Hello Micropolis

Does the plugin also support MP 1.1.0 Beta? I can configure the plugin without problems, but starting MP I get an error regarding the assemblies. Please find all the logs attached.

    HTPCInfo Plugin v0.5.5

    Hi hirscho,
I had analyzed your error messages and in my opinion there is a problem with speedfan and/or any interactions with other plugins. The plugin is compiled against MediaPortal v1.0.2 libraries.
To locate the problem better, please give me a feedback to the following questions:

    • When you start the HTPCInfo diagnostic tool, do you see more than 10 values for temperature/fan/voltage?
    • How many values for temperature/fan/voltage do you see in the main dialog of speedfan?
    • Which entries do you have defined in your configuration dialog/tab "Sensors"?
    • Is it possible to start MediaPortal, if other plugins, which use Speedfan, are disabled?

With these informations it is a little bit easier to reproduce your HTPC installation, thx.

    Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

    HTPCInfo Plugin v0.5.6

    Hi community,
a new version v0.5.6 of this plugin was released today. The next major release will be a "feature freeze" release, that means only bugfixes, small improvements and enhancements for new MediaPortal versions are supported.
Nevertheless, your posts regarding ideas and suggestions are very welcome here in this thread. Should it be possible to implement this, these functionalities are included in upcoming versions.

    Cheers, Micropolis ;-)
