I searched for a solution to my problem but could not find one.
I have Windows 7 with a Hauppauge HVR 2200 and I've installed Media Portal. Media Portal is working perfectly except for 1 detail - while I can hear audio in HD channels using Media Portal, when I record on HDTV channels there is no audio when the recorded files are played back. As far as I can tell, GSpot is telling me that the resulting files contain no audio stream.
Audio recorded on SD channels plays back fine. Also, when I record HDTV using Windows Media Centre, the audio plays back fine.
Obviously I can choose to record from SD channels instead of HD, or to use WMC to record HD, but I'm hoping someone might be able to help me correct this problem or direct me to a solution so that Media Portal can take care of everything for me.
