Vista tries to update, so you will need to stop it doing this. Also use app in WinTV7 download to uninstall all Hauppauge apps and drivers before reinstalling old driver. Get the old driver from the hauppauge.co.uk site. Download WinTV7, extract and its in a folder called drivers. If anyone tries this, would you  be kind enought to reply with your results.
