Hi,

I have a question for those of you using MediaPortal with a Hauppauge HVR2200 DVB-T card.

I am having a few issues with recordings at the moment (but live TV is perfect) and I've noticed in my "tvserver_tv.log" file the following lines:

2009-03-15 11:46:19.984375 [9]: **************************************************
2009-03-15 11:46:19.984375 [9]: ***** SIGNAL LEVEL: 0, SIGNAL QUALITY: 100 *****
2009-03-15 11:46:19.984375 [9]: **************************************************

Can someone else using a HVR2200 please let me know if they also get a signal level of 0?

I suspect that this is normal but I just want to confirm so I can (hopefully) cross it off my list of possible causes of my problems.

Thanks
Andy

I have an Asus P7131 Hybrid DVB-T, and a Terratec T USB XE, both give SIGNAL LEVEL 0. And quaility 100.
When i yank out the antenna cable from the Card(s) signal level increases suddenly to 70 and quality to 30; but now like it should, no signal in mediaportal.
On the original decoder DVB-T on the same antenna gives 93% on level and 98% quality. (<< where i finetune my antenna)

I've not tested it completly (DVB-T) on my system, but the signal level worries me.
What are you're problems with recordings?

    Thanks for the reply cfforce.

I've having problems where the recordings made from 720p channels seem to be corrupted and play back with a lot of stuttering and video continuity errors. I don't have any problems at all with recordings made from interlaced channels on the same mux. Live TV is fine on all channels.
