I can't get this plugin to work (1 Viewer)

So I'm using 0.2.3.0 under XP pro. First I tried installing 0.31 of the online videos plugin which did not work, followed by the .32 MPI. When ever I go to and of the video sites (youtube, google, etc) I can see the video names, but the thumbnail is blank. Then when I select a video I get the audio without an video. ALthough I can hear the audio, everthing is locked up (spinning circle in the middle of my screen). Is there something else I need to do to get this plugin working? Do I need an external player like mplayer? Help

I have this same problem. Youtube doesn't work and Apple videos(i think, i never watch them).
Thumbnails are missing.

Dailymotion works.

Mp 2.3.0.
OV : latest.

I haven't got any logs yet, i have been using "my podcasts" to watch online videos.

I guess something changed in youtube api?

Make sure that you install the flash plugin using internet explorer if you plan on using the FLV player.
You need to install and setup the mplayer plugin to play apple trailers. You can also use mplayer to play youtube videos.
The latest version of the plugin requires a recent SVN version to display the thumbnails.

Ok, confirmed that I can play youtube videos in IE7. Still when I click on a youtube video in MP I only get the audio (and everything is locked up). I have to cntrl-alt-del and kill the process.

Are you saying the videos should actually play under 0.2.3.0 and that I only need SVN for thumbnails?

Hey clobber, I am having the same issues as you, nothing seems to work. If I use mplayer nothing seems to happen at all. But If i dont use mplayer I get sound but no video. I am running the latest SVN from yesterday and seeing the icons fine but just no video. Anyone have any ideas?

First of all, ThX for this amzing plugin, really cool one

I had some troubles, videos wouldnt play, this is what did it for me....

I've downloaded and installed FLV player and enabled "FLV player" in Mediaportal, now it works perfect.
