I don't see what manual shows when I open MP (1 Viewer)

When I open up Media Portal, what I see bears little resemblance to what the manual/wiki shows. 'h' key changes the screen but it just lays the options out vertically rather than horizontally. I went into 'My TV' and the options there match nothing I can find in the manual. I see: TV Guide, Recorded TV, Record Now, Active Recordings, Channel, TV On, TV-Streams, Scheduled and Search. The wiki indicates I should see Electronic Program Guide, Groups, Channels, TV on, Timeshift, Timer, Recorded TV, Search and Teletext.

Earlier I was able to get to the correct screens, set up & record some television shows. Now I can't even find the record/timer function.

I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong that's pretty basic but I can't figure out what it is.

Sadly a lot of the information in the wiki is outdated.

If you mean that you want to schedule a recording, you can do this in TV Guide (if you have configured EPG) or Scheduled.
In TV Guide select the show you want to record and select required recording options.
In Scheduled select New and follow the dialogs to specify recording options.

Not sure how I found that before (Scheduled>New) but I must have somehow. Oddly the Wiki worked great for MP Configuration & TV Server configuration so I guess its just the main program Wiki that's out of date.
