I have downloaded the K-lite codec pack which, as I'm sure you're aware, has the ffdshow codec pack in it. Ever since I have done that, I cannot play ANY ripped dvd's (in VOB format) on PowerDVD. I can get audio, but the visualiser just comes up. The same happens with MP, except the whole interface just locks up. I assumed this was because I was using the Cyberlink codecs, so I switched them to the ffdshow ones, which I knew worked because I use them in Media player classic and they have very good results.
Alas, no.. I have tried every combination and the same happens. And when i try to use Media player classic, it just informs me that the file could not be played. I have a feeling that the codec pack has corrupted or removed something vital.. Please help.
Thanks
