I have no TV sound???? (1 Viewer)

Me again..

Hi,

My TV card do not suport AC3 5.1 sound. Can this be the problem? So when i watch tv and my card only recive analog or stereo sound it dosent work with MP?

What sound input chanel do MP listen to? "video in", "wave" and so on??

    You cant select a audio source with your software card unless you have it externally connected to the soundcard. If it does infact use the pci bus for sound, MP obviously isnt setup to use that. Have you tried tuning a tv channel in MP and examining it in Graphedit? That would be handy if you could get us that.

    Graphedit? Ware do i find that? Is it in MP or a other program? In that case were do i down load it?

    Selin, I had the same problem. I got it working with the windows soundutility. (start, configuration, sound).. then tab Audio, volume of your first aplication, and deselect 'aux'! That did it for me.

    I have exactly the same problem!
    My TV-card AIW 7500 works great with the ATI media center. It used to work the first time I installed Media Portal, but now I get no sound.
    I have tried almoist everything, still no sound!

    I tried jeannes tip but i still got no sound. What the he** is wrong??? This problem is realy starting to get to me. If i was posible i drive my car over my self twice.

    Some one please solv this problem!
