I just replaced Haup 1250 with 2250. How do I get two channels to record simultaneously? (2 Viewers)

Is there any way to change file names post-recording?
I think you should be able to change the name of both the TS and XML files and then re-import them via the "database import" section.

You may need to edit the contents of the XML file as well. XML files can be opened in any text editor - notepad, wordpad etc.

If I want to move the files to another directory, do I need to move all the associated files or just the .ts file.
If you want to move the files then you'd need to move all the associated files. The XML files enable you to re-import the recordings, so it is important to hold onto them.

Since you are in the USA you need to look into one of the online EPG options to get this setup. Some options are Schedules Direct, xmltv using either mc2xml or WebGrab++, or WebEPG using imdb.com. If you use WebEPG make sure you download the updated imdb_com grabber file from the forum. Look at the following for setup info. http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/13_Setup_Guides/2_TV_Setup/4_TV_Guide_Setup_(EPG)

Rather confused by this thread. Exactly which is the right .xml file to download?[/quote]

Still hoping someone will direct me to the right .xml file that is the most recent to install the webepg/imdb episode guide.

If you read the wiki page that RonD linked, you'll see the WebEPG section:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/13_Setup_Guides/2_TV_Setup/4_TV_Guide_Setup_(EPG)#WebEPG

At the bottom of that is the comment that I think you're missing:
WebEPG - includes details on using IMDb grabber for US locations.

Follow the link and it takes you here, which is a full setup guide:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/13_Setup_Guides/2_TV_Setup/4_TV_Guide_Setup_(EPG)/WebEPG

The file you're asking for is linked in the Download subsection of that guide:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/13_Setup_Guides/2_TV_Setup/4_TV_Guide_Setup_(EPG)/WebEPG#Download

To be 100% clear: the files are here...
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...om-grabber-file-adds-subtitle-support.108360/

...but follow the guide in the wiki.

Does it make more sense now? :)
