I just bought the following TV card:

It's a MPEG2 encoder, TV tuner only sold in Japan. I bought it second hand and it works with the software provided (EPG soft too), however I want to set it up within Mediaportal.
I have a month to return it if I am unhappy with it. As of now, mediaportal does not support this card.
If I follow the guide below is it a fool proof way to get my card supported or is it luck of the draw?
