Icons for EXTENDED, DIRECTOR'S CUT, UNRATED, ... (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

is there a way how to display an information on detail screen that selected movie is EXTENDED, UNRATED, etc. version? Because I haven't found it, and it would be useful to have this kind of information.

If there really isn't, are there any plans to add this functionality?

Excellent idea! Definitely submit that if it hasn't been already. I have a few "alternate" versions of films in my library. The most recent being the 2 cuts of Sin City (the one with in order stories, and then one where they're seperated).

i have many alternate movies in my library.. for now i just edit title by hand.. i have talked to fforde and they have this in mind already:

but it's still a long wait (v1.5)..

That looks like something different.
I think the enhancement requests for 'Extra support' and this one should be seperated. They are completely different things and the first one requires much more work (seems to me) than this one.

Yes, I agree, this is mainly about main feature, the movie itself. Although I think, that someone would like to have more versions of the same movie, and that would fall under issue 322 I believe.

What comes to mind is supporting custom logos with rules like MyTVSeries does, where you would add rule based on filename or path and associate logo you want to this rule. This way you could solve this without the need to make such changes as described in issue 322.
