[solved] ID3 tag album cover is not displayed (8 Viewers)

If for an album ID no cover is found in the web the ID3 tag album cover is not displayed.
When the track starts the ID3 tag album cover is shortly (approximately 1 second) shown but then disappears, then only the artist thumb is displayed.
The album MBID is valid.

Do you need extended log files to analyse this issue?

FH search album cover only if album cover not present in MP thumbs folder... I do not remember that FH filled in the properties for the Media Portal, the media portal does this itself. Also the Media Portal itself supports the covers embedded in the tracks.

Processing albums for various artists is equivalent to processing multiple singles for different artists into a single queue sorted in random order.

For this album there's no album cover present in the MP thumbs folder. Only the folder preview image which was created from the folder.jpg exists under C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Music\Folder.
If I disable the FH plug-in there's no album and no artist thumb are displayed.

MP fill MP properties, FH fill FH properties ... If FH not found album property, then FH add artist thumbs as album thumbs ... Its by design ...

It makes sense to show artist thumbs if no album thumb exists. But it doesn't make sense to replace an existing album thumb by an artist thumb.
And there's another side-effect: If the ID3 tag embedded image differs from the downloaded image, the album cover flashes, darkens or moves on track start.
Could you please add an option to not replace existing MediaPortal's album thumbs?

FH not, but MP shows ID3 tag embedded covers. And FH suppresses them after one second.
