I am using the same CPU, however, in a case to which I had to add a cooler for TV to be watchable. Without the cooler TV would start becoming choppy when the system was starting to heat up and the CPU therefore throttling down. The effect was worst with 1080i video sources where the CPU/GPU needs to do the deinterlacing.

From this perspective I doubt that you will be entirely happy with the stick. Notwithstanding nothing is preventing you from purchasing one, installing MePo and test. If you don't like it, reset the system and return the stick to Amazon to get refunded.

Please be aware, that these sticks and N3xxx Celerons and some Nucs aren't capable to bitsream DTS-HD and TrueHD with Windows OS. It is working fine with OpenElec.

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
