i use the black glass nova skin with movingPictures mp-tv and some other plugins. I guess if a movie isnt in any database there cant be a cover for it. Thats no problem, the problem is that i dont see a filename if i dont choose the empty cover in the overview.

For me there was hardly any movie without a cover but if this happens u can always just add covers through the moving pictures config from a custom url

I read the manual but i control my media portal by wireless kyeboard and mouse and it really would be nice if the slider could work with a mouse like in windows Media-Center.

I have some short video-clips in my picture-folder that i dont want to put in my Video-Folder because it makes more sense to have them in the matching picture-folder. Many picture viewer like irfanview have a little built in player to watch such clips. I gues it is not possible at the moment to watch this clips in the picture viewer?


I wanted to thank everybody for your help. It took a little time but now Media Portal is nearly running as i wish and im starting to really like this software.
