Image quality (1 Viewer)

I have a little issue regarding image-quality.
When i play a movie in vlc i usually get a very crisp and sharp image. But when i play the same movie in MP the image get slightly blurred, it´s very suddle but noticeble in some scenes.
I have played around with codec settings etc but no change. I have a 1080p screen.
Is there a fix for this? How can i optimize my video settings?
