I've just installed MP 2 on previously MP 1 machine. It is a clean install (after removing all MP 1 features). I have a problem with organizing image files. I had them orgnised in one folder 'Photos' and subfolders 'Holidays 2016' etc. Classic catalogue tree.
After pointing folder 'Photos' as a media source my MP 2 had imported all the photos in one database. However It dit with no rgard to my folders tree. MP 2 has organised all images in it's own manner . They are now completly random in folders like '2010', '2011', '2012' . Insdie the folder like this can be 20 000 images ! Onle order is chronological. It is of course impossible to show your family photos of last weekend if you have to serach 20 000 files to find correct ones.
My question is: if there is any way to make MP 2 respect my folder tree in creating it's media database ?
