Hello,

I have two movies with duplicate IMDB names.
Oceans Eleven the original 1960 and the 2001 version.

Now when it uploads the IMDB data it takes the cover from the most recent copy of Oceans Eleven and the 1960 and 2001 version both show the same cover.

Is there any way for me to have different covers i.e. the original DVD covers for each film ?

Thanks for you help

Simon

    Try using "refresh".

    Workaround:
    1. Rename file, ie: Oceans Eleven-old-divx (or something more cryptic).
    2. When searching -> no results. Manually type Oceans (only) - select appropriate movie.

    Good luck!

BTW: There really should be an option for manual IMDB-search. Also without using a file; useful when you are interested in a movie that is on TV (EPG-link?!)

I had this problem with the two Italian Job films (original & new)
the problem isn't imdb, it's mediaportal (sorry to say)
adding a film with an identical name seems to overwrite the existing one

    solution
add one of them to the database, and then change it's database name.
I just put the year in brackets at the end
then add the other one (changing it's name also if you want, just to keep consistency)

I get this problem even if the name's different, but similar. I scan Starship Troopers & then scan Starship Troopers 2, & while the description's different, when I pick a cover for one, the other uses the same cover. It does the same thing with King Kong (1976).avi & King Kong (2005).avi.
