Hello All,

I am a great fan of not starting new threads, however, after literally 3 weeks of searching, I am nearly at the point of pulling my hair out and reverting back to 0.2.3.0 RC2...

Since upgrading (uninstalling everything first) to v1.0 RC1, I have been unable to get the IMDB lookup to even match 1 title on the pass. I have even added the year to the title as instructed by another forum member to every title that I've got (around 650).

I've attached the logs below, and in particular, I have noticed that on the auto-pass, a certain line in the "configuration.log" file appears to be incorrect - "Refreshing IMDB for -".

If I let the scan complete, not 1 entry is found, yet if I manually hit the "Lookup" button, the list is produced from IMDB and I can select the entry without issue. Then, when the log file is checked again, the line "Refreshing IMDB for - Hot Fuzz" has the movie name where it should be.

Am I the only one experiencing this? I have installed MP on 2 desktops and a laptop and all are producing the same results...

My movies are stored in the following format (which was no problem with 0.2.3.0 RC2) : \\zeus\Hot Fuzz\Hot Fuzz.avi

As stated above I have tried a combination of adding the year to just the movie file, the directory and both, but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if using latest svn, add imdb_com to the search preferences in the MP config\movie\database

I've replaced the script with the one from the suggested thread and cleared everything and restarted Config. Added (from the dropdown list) "imdb_com" to the Internet database seach settings but no joy - still skipping over the titles as seen here in the Configuration.log file:

It appears that the new script has not helped in this instance...

After playing around some more, it appears that you MUST have the "Automatically select closest match" checkbox ticked AND the new IMDB_COM script in place, otherwise you will get a 100% failure.

If this is the case, why is this even an option, and turned off by default?

If you open the database\edit, can you give a example of film name shown, if any.

It auto-merged my "double-post". I've managed to get it working, but as stated above, orignally didn't have the checkbox ticked and was getting 100% failure - now getting what appears to be 100% success.

Again, as stated above, if the checkbox needs to be ticked in order to get results, should it be an option?

Don't know why this only affecting you, here it does not matter whether automatically download is ticked or not.
