    Synopsis::

    I cannot get MediaPortal to grab info on my movies from IMDB. I've tried manually in the editor and by scanning - the movie name I used is Jarhead.

    Please help...

    I think the easyest way is to start MP and go in to the "My movies" and have it in files view, and then "right click " on the movie you want to load information from IMDB, and in the menu choose load info from IMDB or some tihing like that.

    When you have done this for all the movies you can change the view to show title, this will show everyting in the database in a nice order.

    Hope this helps.

    When you search, the file name will be used. Thus, if you have a .torrent named crash-xvid-deamontracked.avi, there will be no matches. So choose manual search and write the movie (or part of the name).

    Strange it didn't find Jarhead, though

    @ mirk

    Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I've already tried that and MP downloads nothing from IMDB or TV.com. I've also tried typing in the name of a number of movies manually and that doesn't work either :cry:

    @ Okay

    All of my movies have standard names (most of them are backups of my kids DVDs and one or two of mine), they are all (x23) stored in a folder named "G:\NTSC" :roll:

    With remote:
    In "my videos" choose video-file or folder containing video and press button " i " then choose IMDB
    Videofile or folder have to have as close as the movies name as possible

    Does anybody have a resolution to my original post? :roll:
    I've installed Meedio and the IMDBmee plugin as a test and all of the information for all my videos was imported correctly. :D
    Any ideas anyone? :cry:
