To be honest, I'm pretty sure they were the steps I took. When you say 'Allow IMDB plugin to verify..'

The check for update on IMDb+ scraper-script is done the moment IMDb+ is initialized. There is a 10 second delay on the popup dialog, so if you enter MediaPortal GUI, by the time MediaPortal finishes loading all the plugins and skin, you will get the info box saying that IMDb+ scraper-script was updated. That is normally all that is needed. When I'm testing for issues, I still use MovPic config via direct shortcut, but then I have to launch MePo GUI for a short time just long enough for it to 'update'.

Using the IMDb+ plugin options are just an additional method, because entering the IMDb+ plugin is the only time it checks scraper-script priority. The "IMDb+ Force..." option is to convert any stragglers that got imported by "imdb (default)" or TMDb.

@HomeY, I know the wiki needs some serious updating, but it is already tough to find the time to work on IMDb+ scraper-script and IMDb+ plugin. I'd be happy to give you Google code project access to update the wiki if you feel interested.
i'm in the same boat as you... Wouldn't mind if i would be able to find the time somewhere. Maybe someone from the @Docs Team would be willing to help out?

Let me know what you need and I'll see :)

Heya SpudR, are you an IMDb+ user? I just need some updates to the wiki that show of Titan skin, explain the known-issues regarding the changes Amazon/IMDb did and workarounds. I've pretty much replied to users via forum posts each time, or seen other users help eachoter, but an update to wiki would be good. Supposed to do this myself, but docs are always pushed to the side when the focus is on new features.

Yes - I use IMDB+ but not with the Titan skin
PM me the changes/updates required, or point me at the relevant info and I'll see what I can do...

    Typical developer ;)

Hey now o_O .... then again, you are right

Yes - I use IMDB+ but not with the Titan skin
PM me the changes/updates required, or point me at the relevant info and I'll see what I can do...

The existing wiki misery I did myself (@Dadeo pushed me to do it) is at: http://code.google.com/p/imdbplus/wiki/InstallPlugin

So it probably makes more sense to move that over or link it to the MediaPortal wiki. Not sure what the recommended way is on that. But seeing as you are an IMDb+ user you can see how a lot of the screenshots and explanation is outdated. Skin doesn't matter, I just thought MePo v1.3+ was pushing Titan as the new 'default' skin, so made most sense to use that for new screenshots.

I'm still using MePo v1.2 at home with a modified DefaultWide skin, which has been part of the delay in getting things done.

At first just an update/refresh on the existing wiki is good with new screenshots and adjusted explanation that covers the new scenario. For example foreign users of IMDb+ should not enable the original title option, as it will mess things up with localized translated titles from the AKA page used by Amazon/IMDb. Pretty much a collection of the questions I've answered the last few weeks on forum, as users individually ran into problems.

For example I need to cover the steps required to properly handle a sytstem restore of MePo/MovPic database/settings, which was recently answered via: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...mdb-scraper-v4-9-12.98978/page-25#post-991151

Any help would be appreciated, a product is always much better with good documentation, I just am stuck in typical developer situation of barely having time and whatever time I got is spend on implementing new stuff which desperatly needs documenation.

    Scraper script v4.9.13 released

    - Added support for collections derived from decimal numbered series

Also updated the rename database, and there is now a "» Oscars for Best Picture" collection. By sorting this category view on "Year" you will get a nice overview of all the oscar winners in chronological order. This will also allow you to spot the missing entries by looking at gaps in the years. Should have a total of 85 movies if you wish to have the entire collection complete. Info taken from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_Award_for_Best_Picture

Also spotted a few minor mistakes, so corrected those as well. To update an existing collection the easiest way, just use the IMDb+ plugin hidden menu to find the refresh menu item and select to only refresh the replacement/rename-dbase entries. And keep in mind that this only works if you use the test-build as provided on the IMDb+ download page (or build MovPic from SVN yourself)

    Scraper script v4.9.14 released

    - Fixed single digit IMDb+ scores

Seems on movies with score of 8.0 (Avatar example) it was listed inside HTML code as 8 and had to adjust RegExp to compensate
