    Options IMDb+ Scraper.xml provided as recommended settings.
    Rename dBase IMDb+ Scraper (Base).xml provided as full AUTO option.

    Both files to be placed in this folder:
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\IMDb+

    The Scraper is what you need to get this to work.
    Open Moving Pictures Configuration > Importer Settings > Data Sources > Movie Details Data Sources.
    Select IMDb+ and remove it by clicking the drop down to the right of the Dash button > Delete Selected Data Source.
    If you disable the Datasource, you can't overwrite it.
    Click the drop down to the right of the Plus button > Add a new Data Source.
    Disable anything else by selected the other items and clicking the Dash button.

    Repeat this process for Cover Art Data Sources, and Backdrop Data Sources.
    Now you are fetching details and artwork solely fro TMDb and it's fairly fast and without the delays from errors fanart has.

    I had 16 new movies standing by to be scraped. Did just that with your new scraper and the result is MAGICAL. All movies were scraped again by IMDb+ and all are supplied with Roman Numerals where needed. Also some new additions like (DCU) with Superman 2025, (Live-Action) with Lilo & Stitch 2025 and Jurassic World added to the big Jurassic collection.
    Question: How can I make the Custom Scraper XML a preference? So that the entries in there are the first to be taken, no matter what.
    Thanks already for your massive work and the many hours you've put into this. You are one of the few that can pull this off!!

    I will try to update the scraper for IMDB+ tonight. It will push the update to everyone. Not sure how it doesthe daily check, so if it may try to fetch an update daily when there is none.

    Values and used by the scraper in this order Custom > Default > AUTO.

    When I push the update so everyone gets it, would it be better to remove most of the default overrides, leaving the Custom, or keep the legacy rename junk in there?

    I still have the XML called "Rename dBase IMDb+ Scraper (Custom).xml". Should this file also be renamed to work with the new scraper? Maybe some number as a prefix?

    No, Custom stays as is.
    Legacy file will remain. Anything you want to use you can copy over to your Custom.
    Trying to get Base file added for an update to IMDB+

    Are you saying the Custom is not over riding the title or sortby or collection? Did you try it or just assume?

    It seems like my Custom is not overriding. Because I have entries in the Custom like:

    <rename id="tt11866324" title="Predator (Prequel) I: Prey" />
    <rename id="tt8115900" title="The Bad Guys I" />
    <rename id="tt11655566" title="Lilo & Stitch" />

    But the result from the new scrape:

    Predator V: Prey (2022)
    Bad Guys I (2022) (slight difference)
    Lilo & Stitch (Live-Action) I (2025)

    I have more examples. This is why I think my Custom has no priority.

    To be honest, I really focused on the AUTO stuff for 2 solid weeks. Only made sure sortby worked, not titles.
    There is only a year in the Importer, your titles are these.
    Predator V: Prey
    Bad Guys I
    Lilo & Stitch (Live-Action) I

    I strip off "The" at the beginning as it drives me crazy.

    Predator Prey is part of the same collection, so it doesn't say (Prequel).

    In this case you could use sortby instead like I did with Star Wars to get the order the way you want.
    Star Wars IV: A New Hope
    Star Wars V: Empire Strikes Back
    Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi

    Looking at the titles now I can see you are correct, it's not working.
    I have a fix in place and I also noticed an issue with some of the certifications missing example M, R, PG.

    I'll update the IMDB+ plugin soon with the fix (with help from @ajs).
