Finally got around to build a new IMDb+ MPEI so that the plugin will look for updates at GitHub and no longer the defunct Google Code.

Still got trouble figuring Git out, because it is refusing to allow me to commit the update.xml file with some BS errors and no explanation how to resolve it (should have gone with SourceForge to keep the easy SVN method).

So for now please manually update IMDb+ plugin via: https://github.com/RoChess/IMDbPlus/releases

IMDb changed their HTML code again, and already had to write a fix for release_date, so verify that v4.9.54 scraper-script gets updated. You might need to adjust IMDb+ plugin settings to check for scraper-script updates at launch, or wait the default sync time of 24 hours.

Was able to curse enough at Git to make it work, and update.xml committed.

MediaPortal Extension Installer should show a little yellow icon to show an update is available, and you can update easy from within.

Windows XP will fail to download the SSL link from GitHub, because it does not support the new TLS chain, but you can download the MPEI with Firefox/Chrome/etc, and then install it manually.
