Hi there... i've taken a while but i downloaded 1.2.2 and suddenly i can't hit up more than once in quick succession (for an immediate skip step).

It's driving me nuts... is there anyway of changing the timeout for this?

and to be clear i'm talking about immediate skip steps instead of regular skip steps.

please help i'm going to go crazy.

rekenaar,

Unfortunately the problem cannot be solved with those settings.

Since upgrading to 1.2.2 I cannot hit the ‘up’ button in quick succession. If I hit up once I go 5secs into the future, if I hit 3 quick ‘ups’ I also only go 5 seconds into the future, not (as I used to) 15secs.

It’s infuriating!

I have to hit up (to go 5 seconds) then wait a second for it to clear then do it again to go another 5 seconds.

In the past if I wanted to go 25seconds into the future I’d do 5 taps… easy and took less than a second.

Now I have to tap – then wait – then tap– then wait – then tap– then wait – then tap– then wait – then tap. I may as well just wait 25secs

can no-one help?

I tested with my MP 1.2.2 before replying.
So you need to reproduce your problem and post full debug log files.

Are you saying you don't have this problem?:

that you can quickly (and i mean quickly, <1second) tap 3 'ups' to jump 3 skip steps????

    with 1.2.2???

I'm sure this isn't my problem but a change in the way mediaportal works

but if you're sure you don't have the problem then i'll debug. Only how do i do that?

this is not a bug... i'm not sure what you guys were doing but i've tried 3 different machines and they ALL have this problem with MP1.2.
I have since rolled back to 1.1.3 and everything works fine again.

Please will someone take a look at this and repair it for the next release

Well, two experienced team members say that they have tried and cannot reproduce the problem. Therefore it probably isn't a general issue.

What sort of remote are you using?
